Kuwait Banking Association organizes the second job opportunities fair for recruits in the National Military Service as part of the campaign “Employment After Recruitment”
Kuwait Banking Association, in cooperation with the National Military Service Authority, organized the second annual job opportunities fair for recruits joining the National Military Service on Monday and Tuesday, June 3-4, 2024. The exhibition was attended by the Chief of General Staff of the Army, His Excellency Lieutenant General Pilot Mr. Bandar Salem Abdullah, and the Chairman of the National Military Service Authority, Major General Ahmed Rashid Awad. It was also attended by the Secretary-General of the Kuwait Banking Association, Prof. Yaqoub Al-Sayed Yousef Al-Rifaei, and the Chairman of the Human Resources Committee at the Association, General Manager of the Human Resources Sector at the Commercial Bank of Kuwait, Mr. Sadiq Al-Abdullah, in addition to the participation of leaders of Kuwaiti banks in the Human Resources Committee.
On this occasion, Dr. Yaqoub Al-Rifaei stressed that the Association and Kuwaiti banks are at the forefront of their interests in providing job opportunities for recruits that are commensurate with their experiences and skills in order to help them complete the journey of giving to our beloved country, Kuwait.
Al-Rifaei also stressed that the Kuwaiti banking sector is the most active and developed locally and regionally, and plays a leading role in driving the country’s development engines, in addition to being the largest employer of national labor in the private sector, as Kuwaiti youth employ more than 79% of workers in local banks.
Al-Rifaei praised the banking sector’s efforts in educating, qualifying and training young national cadres to work in banks, most notably the efficiency programs held under the supervision of the Central Bank of Kuwait, which come within the framework of its strategy and Kuwaiti banks towards investing in young national labor as one of the goals of sustainable development.
Al-Rifaei also expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the General Staff of the Army and the National Military Service Authority for their efforts, loyalty, belonging and sacrifice within the framework of their national duty to serve our beloved country, Kuwait.
