The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Banking Association, Shaikh Ahmad Duaij Al-Sabah, stated that the Association’s Board of Directors had unanimously approved, at its meeting No. (1/2024) held on February 14, 2024, the appointment of Dr. Yaqoub Al-Sayyid Yousef Al-Rifai as Secretary-General of the Association for a single term for a period of 3 years (2024 – 2027). Appointment of Ms. Shaikha Fawzi Al-Essa as Deputy Secretary-General.
In this regard, the Chairman and members of the Kuwait Banking Association’s Board of Directors extend their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Hamad Ali Al-Hasawi for his sincere efforts that he made throughout his tenure as Secretary-General of the Federation from September 2011 until March 2024.
On this occasion, Dr. Hamad Al-Hasawi expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Association’s Board of Directors for the trust that was granted to him for a period that extended more than 12 years during which he had the honor of working under the leadership of the Board of Directors in a journey that was wonderful and a unique experience that contributed fundamentally to developing the work and achieving many achievements, wishing the Board, The administration and the General Secretariat continue the journey of the Union and achieve further development, successes and achievements in the coming years.
Al-Hasawi also extended his sincere thanks to all governmental and private agencies, led by the Central Bank of Kuwait, which played an active role in achieving the Association’s achievements.
